Optimizing Business Solutions

This course provides fundamental guidance related to accounting and business management processes. From compliance to workflow management to financial reporting and analysis, the instructor will review best practice processes for obtaining higher levels of timely and accurate financial information.  Designed for accounting professionals who seek to better manage business processes and those practitioners who advise and assist their clients in improving business operations, this course focuses on contemporary strategies and the technologies available for improving the quality of business information and internal controls. Your instructor will identify and discuss specific business processes and explain how business management applications can be integrated with existing financial reporting and production systems to improve the overall financial reporting and internal control structure in an organization.  In addition, strategies to address Sarbanes-Oxley compliance as well as means to control and automate revenue recognition and reporting will be provided in this course.

 

The course will provide an overview of the key business management applications available for financial management and reporting, business intelligence and performance measurement, key performance indicators, budgeting and forecasting, document management, wireless distribution and service systems, RFID integration, and customer relationship management.
