Joe has been a practicing accountant since 1977. Prior to establishing his own firm, Joe worked as a manager in a large local CPA firm, which went out of existence after merging with a much larger regional firm. This provided the catalyst for Joe to establish his own firm, Sanford & Company, P.A., in 1988.
In his professional life, while involved in all aspects of the firm, he focuses his efforts in estate planning, litigation support, management consulting and technology consulting. Joe also frequently serves as a moderator for various tax, accounting, technology and ethics continuing education seminars for CPAs.
Joe takes great pleasure in volunteering his time and expertise to local non-profit organizations that are focused on assisting children, either by providing emergency shelter or by providing quality education.
