How do I register if I purchased a webinar directly from K2 Enterprises?

To register for your K2 Webinar or Event, please do the following:

  1. Create an account on CPE Today
  2. Purchase the webinar or event
  3. Go to the My Courses Tab
  4. Select the webinar or event and click the register button

How do I register for a State Society-sponsored event or webinar?

To register for a State Society-sponsored event,

  1. You will purchase the webinar from the sponsoring State Society through their CPE catalog.
  2. After purchasing the webinar from them, you will receive an initial registration link from the sponsoring State Society with a specific link to a webinar registration page on K2 Enterprises. To be clear, you must have purchased your course from your state society, AND you must register with K2/CPE Today. We do not receive your registration information from your state society in advance. You MUST always register with us as well. 
  3. Once on the K2 Enterprises webinar registration page, you will provide your name and email address to register for the class.
  4. If this is your first class with K2, you will get an email to confirm your email address with us and CPE Today. The email will come from support@cpetoday.com.
  5. Lastly, you will receive a direct link to your webinar from CPE Today. Just click that link before the start of your webinar, and you’ll be in the session. We recommend connecting to the session at least 5-10 minutes before the beginning of the session.

How do I keep my materials?

All materials for your webinar or event will be provided through the meeting room. You can access and download the materials from the platform during the event.

Can I watch a recording of my webinar after the event?

No, we generally do not make recordings of our events available after the conclusion of the class.

Where/when do I get my certificate?

If you purchased your webinar or event through a State Society, you will receive an email with your certificate from them. If you purchased the certificate through K2, you will receive an email from K2 with the certificate. If you have any questions or issues, please contact webinar@k2e.com.

How many polling questions should I expect?

The number of polling questions may vary depending on the length of the webinar and the speaker’s presentation. Typically, you can expect 3-4 polling questions per hour of content. To ensure you do not miss your polling questions, you will hear a ding sound when the polling question pops up. The polling question will remain up for about one minute.

What if I miss a polling question?

If you miss a polling question, don’t worry. You can still participate in the rest of the webinar and earn your CPE credit. You must complete 75% of all polling questions to receive full credit.

What do I do if I do not see a polling question?

Polling questions will automatically generate on top of your webinar video screen at random intervals. If you do not see a polling question, try the following options:
  1. Disable the ad-blocker
  2. Clear your browser cache
  3. Refresh your browser window
  4. Close unnecessary tabs or browser windows
  5. Restart your browser

Do I need an account?

Yes, you will need CPE Today account to attend webinars and events. You will create an account upon registering for your first class or webinar.

How to confirm my account?

You will receive an email after your initial account creation. Please click the link in that email to confirm your account.

What if I don’t get the registration email/link?

Please check your spam folder if you do not receive the registration email or link. If you still cannot find the email, please contact customer support at webinar@k2e.com. You can also look up your event registration by clicking

How do I access my event portal? What is my event portal?

You can access your event portal by clicking here. Your event portal has your unique registration links to launch courses, download links for materials, evaluation links, and more. here.

How do I reach customer support?

What if I want to ask the instructor a question?

You can use the chat feature to ask the instructor a question during the webinar or event session. The instructor will respond to questions as they are able.

How do I listen to the webinar?

The audio will be streamed through your computer or other streaming device. There are no call-in options to listen to the webinar.

Do I need to install any special software to attend the webinar?

No special software or browser plugins are required to attend the webinar. The entire webinar experience takes place in your browser. Any modern Internet browser (e.g., Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.) will be sufficient to attend the class.

What if I can’t hear the speaker or presentation? What if there are stuttering or pauses throughout the presentation?

If you experience pauses or stuttering audio throughout the presentation this is most likely due to an Internet connection issue. We recommend you check your local network to ensure that you have quality high-speed Internet access.

If you have other bandwidth-intensive applications (e.g., offsite backup, online gaming, video streaming, etc.), you should consider pausing them until after the event.

Our attendance verification system requires your computer to have the correct time. If not, it will cause tracking issues throughout your session. If your system time is off by more then four minutes, it will cause issues with you receiving the attendance prompts.

Please note, the server time will only update when you refresh the page, but the your local time will keep updating. 

If the time is incorrect:

For Windows users:

  1. Right-click on the time at the bottom right of your screen
  2. Select ‘Adjust date/time’
  3. Under ‘Set the time automatically’, switch the toggle to ‘On’

For Mac users:

  1. Open ‘System Preferences’
  2. Click on ‘Date & Time’
  3. Check the box ‘Set date and time automatically’

What are the minimum technology requirements?

You will need a computer or mobile device with a high-speed internet connection to participate in the webinar. You will also need a modern web browser and speakers or headphones to listen to the audio. Specific technical requirements will be provided in the event materials.

No matter the device you are using, you will need these minimum requirements:

  • A modern version of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, or Opera web browsers.
  • A broadband internet connection with a minimum speed of 8+Mbps, but 10+Mbps is recommended. 

Note: Flash Player is not required

Please make sure that your computer, whether it is a desktop or laptop, meets the following requirements:

A Windows 10+ or higher Operating system with the latest updates installed:

  • 4GB or more of Ram
  • Graphics output capability for Video
  • Sound output capability for Sound

A Mac OS X 10.12 or higher Operating system with the latest updates installed:

  • 4GB or more of Ram
  • Graphics output capability for Video
  • Sound output capability for Sound

Please make sure that your mobile devices meet the following requirements:

  • Android 6.0 or higher operating system
  • iOS 12.0 or higher operating system
